Instant Pot Spaghetti Alfredo is an easy, one-pot recipe that combines the tastiness of spaghetti with the richness of Alfredo sauce.
Instant Pot Spaghetti Alfredo combines the flavors of two classic pasta dishes – spaghetti and fettucine Alfredo – in one tasty dish.
This simple version is made entirely in the Instant Pot and takes minimal prep. Most of the time is hands-off, and since it’s made in one pot, the cleanup is easy.
The Alfredo mellows the acidity of the sauce, which makes for rich and creamy spaghetti that is so good!
How to make Instant Pot spaghetti with Alfredo sauce
Here you’ll find step-by-step photos showing how to make this recipe. The full recipe is given below.
Step 1: Press sauté.
Step 2: When hot, add Italian sausage, and cook, stirring occasionally, until browned. Drain grease from Italian sausage and return to the inner pot.
Step 3: Add the onion, and cook, stirring regularly, until softened, about 2-3 minutes.
Step 4: Stir in the garlic and cook, stirring regularly, for 30 seconds.
Step 5: Pour in the wine and scrape up any browned bits. Press cancel.
Step 6: Add the spaghetti sauce, noodles, and water.
Step 7: Close and lock the lid. Turn the pressure release valve to sealing. Press manual high pressure and adjust the cooking time to 5 minutes.
Step 8: When cooking time finishes, let the pressure release for 5 minutes.
Step 9: After 5 minutes, carefully turn the pressure release valve to venting to quickly release the remaining pressure. Unlock and remove the lid.
Step 10: Give the spaghetti a good stir. If the noodles aren’t as soft as you would like, cover and let the spaghetti sit for a few minutes.
Step 11: Stir in the Alfredo sauce until combined.
Step 12: Serve topped with grated Parmesan cheese.
Serving suggestions
I like to serve the spaghetti with garlic bread and a green salad. The garlic bread is great for sopping up any extra sauce, and the green salad helps to cut the richness of the pasta.
Storage
Store any leftover spaghetti in an airtight container in the refrigerator. It will keep for up to 4 days when properly stored in the fridge.
